Hi friends! I’m Becca, a hairstylist currently serving the West Pasco area at Sandy’s Hair Studio & Spa!

While i LOVE a good trim to keep things healthy, that is not always what the client wants 🤷‍♀️ I was able to keep her roots and mids healthy by using a low volume developer (10 vol) and lifting her hair slowly, rather than blowing out her hair’s cuticle to save a few minutes! We did discuss booking for a haircut with her next service, though! ✂️

Copper pops to kick off the fall hair color season! 🍁

When this client originally came to me she had recently tried covering her old blonde with something at home to match her natural color. But the blonde…it calls you, and so she called me!

When going from dark to light, particularly when the dark is from previous color (professional or otherwise), sometimes it may take a couple of appointments to get to your goal AND to maintain your healthy length!

I dont use the term “color correction” lightly. Its a big service and should be treated as such!

This lovely client came in after trying a few times to achieve her hair goals elsewhere. She kept feeling orangey, brassy, and not happy.

Thats where I stepped in! We did a full foil using two lighteners, 20 volume for her level 3 root, and 6 volume for the pre-lightened ends. Every hair left out of foils got lowlighted with Super Sync 4N + 6M to cover that orange that was left out of the foils and blend out her natural color + grays.

After that beautiful, clean lift, we toned at the bowl with Shades EQ 10N, 9V, with a splash of 9GB and a splash of clear! We cut her into a super cute, asymmetric bob, and she was a bright, beautiful, dimensional blonde!

This pretty lady needed a full makeover, and a full makeover she received!

Looking at her starting canvas, I knew she needed to be lifted a few levels in order to get her to her desired end result. To do that, i mixed 2 bowls of lightener: one with 20 volume for her level 3 regrowth, and one with 6 volume for her pre-lightened ends that needed to be lifted just a smidge more!

Between each foil I lowlighted with Matrix Professional Hair Color & Care 4N (to blend her natural color), and 6M (to help fill the pre-lightened hair and keep it from becoming a muddy, green/brown).

Once she was lifted to a clean level 10, I toned her with Redken Shades EQ 10N + 9V with a splash of 9GB and processing solution!

We went back and forth on the length, but eventually opted for an asymmetric bob for maximum hair health (cutting off more dead ends), and for maximum cuteness!

Thanks for reading 💕
