Two summers on a lifeguard tower went into this little jar.

Summer Butter started as a request from my two toughest product testers — my hubs and my son, who spend part of every summer as Volusia County lifeguards. They wanted something simple for skin that spends real time outside.

So I made it. Then I remade it, tweaked it, and remade it again — through two summers of beach days, swim drills, saltwater, and one very thorough family test day at Volcano Bay. This is the version we fell in love with.
