As I closed the doors to THE aRT OF HAIR on the same day that I celebrated my 30 year anniversary of being a licensed stylist, I am ready to start a new path. I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible journey this has been.
My career began with two years working in commission salons, followed by five years as an independent stylist renting a chair and building my clientele. The last 23 years have been spent proudly owning and operating THE aRT OF HAIR—a dream that became a reality and a career that became my passion.
None of it would have been possible without my amazing clients, friends and family. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, your stories, your laughter, and your friendship. So many of you have been with me through it all. The relationships I’ve built over the years are what made this profession so rewarding.
Your loyalty, support, referrals, and kindness have meant more than I could ever express. You helped turn a small business into a successful 23-year salon and gave me the privilege of doing what I loved every day.
While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye, I leave this chapter with a heart full of gratitude and memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you for being such an important part of my life and career.
This is not the end of my story—it’s simply the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. I look forward to embracing new adventures, creating new memories, and carrying all of the lessons, friendships, and love I’ve gained along the way.

Very overdue Mikayla gets a makeover from her Auntie .iorio
Due to all my traveling I wasn’t able to get her in my chair for many months and her hair suffered 😞
I made sure to spoil her on this hair visit…even more than I normally do. 😍
After I gave her a Dry Reaction Haircut, she received an Olaplex treatment to remove the hard water mineral deposit that was heavily coating her hair. Followed with a deep red gloss for added depth, condition and shine.
