Once we get to your desired results, we maintain with one session a year, on average. ⁣

And it may even be longer! ⁣

We go by how your lips look. Not the length of time since your last treatment. ⁣

Early to mid 30’s: I’ll see you an average of 3x a year for Botox, once a year for filler/Sculptra maintenance. ⁣

What are M-shaped lips? ⁣
⁣
⁣
Arguably the toughest lip shape to treat. ⁣
⁣
The “M” refers to the upper lip shape: fullness in the center of the lip, but thin and curled in on the sides (from the center to the mouth corner). ⁣
⁣
Best to treat in stages and build up the lip slowly over time. ⁣
⁣
For some, that will mean 3 sessions over one year. For others, it will just be one. ⁣
⁣
Trying to do too much at once can cause the upper lip to appear heavy or too projected (think Marge Simpson or the dreaded 🦆 lip). ⁣

This was her before & after her 1st session, which was done over a year ago. I was pleasantly surprised with her M-shape correction after just one visit. It’s been holding up well and we haven’t treated since! ⁣

I always assess the lips by how they look, NOT by length of time since last appointment. Just because it’s been a year, does not mean that you need to treat your lips again.
