Dental visits are not always easy for children with special needs. Sensory sensitivities, anxiety, communication challenges, and unfamiliar environments can make even a routine checkup overwhelming.

Thankfully, in the United States, many dentists receive specialized training to work with children of all abilities. Their patience, understanding, and individualized approach help create a safe and positive experience for every child.
