To those who have defended us in the comments, shared kind words, checked in on us, and reminded us why we do what we do. We see you, we appreciate you, and we will never forget it!
Unfortunately, we’ve also experienced an overwhelming amount of harassment, threatening messages, disrespectful phone calls during business hours, and fake Google reviews from people who have never stepped foot inside our salon. We kindly ask that this behavior stop. We have a team to protect, including minors who work with us, and these actions affect real people simply trying to do their jobs.
Despite the negativity, nothing changes who we are.
We are, and always will be, a Black owned business. We are proud of our identity, proud of our heritage, and proud of the work we continue to do in our community. We will keep creating opportunities, serving our clients with excellence, and pouring back into the communities that have supported us from day one.
Hate will never be louder than love.
