These brows weren’t originally red. This is another example of how older techniques and pigments could cause an unwanted color shift. With proper pigments and correct technique, brows shouldn’t fade into this kind of red.
I never thought I’d do so many color corrections until I started working with clients in the US. Many cases are workable, like this one, where I created a seamless transition between the old tattoo and the new shape.
But this is to be continued! At the touch-up, we’ll complete the correction. The newly implanted pigment will heal lighter, while the old tattoo will most likely need some additional work.
On mature skin, I ALWAYS work with diluted pigment. Over an old tattoo, I use concentrated pigment - straight from the bottle.
