Because everybody can style hair, but not everybody knows how to care for it.
Some people only care about how it looks when you leave the chair…I care about how your hair looks 3 months later.
A lot of stylists braid too tight, use too much heat, ignore breakage, and cover damage instead of fixing it.
That’s why I’m picky.

Went for a silk press but left with heat damage and trust issues…
I asked for HEALTHY, flowing hair… not burnt ends and a setback 😭
No heat protectant, too much heat, and no care for my actual hair condition.
That moment right there? Yeah… that’s when I stopped letting just anybody touch my hair.
Moral of the story: a style should never cost you your health. If they don’t prioritize your real hair, they’re not the one.

I don’t let just anybody touch my hair anymore. I’ve dealt with breakage, thinning edges, and styles that looked good for a day but cost me months of growth. That’s exactly why I became so serious about hair care, ingredients, and technique.
Now? It’s healthy hair ONLY, protective styles done right, and products that actually nourish my scalp. If it’s not about growth, retention, and real care… I don’t want it near my crown 👑
