I was a teenage mother who taught myself how to braid my daughters hair. When I started growth hair journey. And started to see results,my mother asked me to teach her. So my hairstylist journey began .I always wanted to reach out to teenagers to teach them markable skills that would help them build up confidence by looking good and feeling good in helping people enhancing their beauty.

..my opinion on the Gorilla Glue situation.
As a licensed professional and Educator behind the chair for years, we see all type of stuff that really doesn’t make any sense if you asked the client WHY???
Matter of fact, I always leave my clients with one final word, before you do it, text me first!!!!
I really don’t care the back story or picking it apart to find out the truth because what value at this time does it add???
This women is in a CRISIS!!!!
This situation is absolutely nothing to laugh at or about!!!!
The long term effects of that one decision are far reaching and most likely will result in her being completely bald for the rest of her life!!!
Not even beginning to address what this has and will do to her self esteem or her health!!!
I find myself feeling the same type of way when I see young women wearing wigs as a everyday look!!! ...gluing hair extensions directly to their hair, wearing extensions or braids that are too heavy and causing their hair to snap and break!!! Bleaching their hair and adding color with no idea of the chemistry behind what they are doing!!!
It’s millions of Licensed Professionals that have built their book of business helping these very women.
This is a REAL reason yet again, that separates the educated LICENSED PROFESSIONAL from the non licensed “YouTube Hair Guru”, or your home girl that can braid or do a weave for the low!!!!
You might think you popping for a moment but trust me, when you hair starts falling out or you go bald you will be singing a different song wanting to be saved!!! ...and you will pay whatever the cost may 🐝.
So ease UP, on the judgement and extend GRACE!!!
