The evolution of the larger packaging
I thought this part of my product line/ project, & branding would be the easiest... but was mistaken! Each part that I think will be a little easier than the other I’m mistaken 😉
• After creating & designing so many products this part has to be simple…
• I also created smaller packaging a few years ago, so how difficult could it be?!
*especially more difficult during COVID times*
• I found myself remembering how much I like to give a nice gift to someone I love or care for but hate wrapping that gift for them (most times, I don’t). What I’m saying is, I don’t like wrapping presents & this part reminded me of wrapping presents!
• Besides making sure all the artwork & content was on ‘point’... Figuring out what dimensions I really needed was tedious.
• I found myself searching through numerous shoe / boot boxes. Begging my kid to hold or reach and get this one or that one, as I tried to arrange the products in the boxes nicely 👀.
• To make it fun (as I’m animated at times), I would throw things in the box or the broken boxes I would collapse in them some my lil business partner aka the kid could get a laugh.
• Ultimately, I figured it out with my little business partner who helped. WB on a lecture. And - Hence, you can see how our packaging came about:))

It started by being mixed in the salon to help clients with bald patches & thinning hair / edges.

Then it was constantly being requested so it went from the salon to the kitchen, kitchen aid; into little bottles.

It out grew the kitchen aid and went to play with the big boy; a vintage 1953 shopsmith that was made a hybrid just for me. Look at the HUGE mixer on it:)!

Then I wrapped it in xerox paper👀,

Because it graduated... it was mass produced & it is what you see now with great reviews & results!
