Transparent moment! I’m sharing just in case someone else may be in the same situation. I kept feeling this pain in my left breast, but I was too afraid to get it checked. I finally told my mom in fear that she would make me go to the doctor. 😩 So finally I made an appointment with my doctor. The doctor was hesitant at first because I’m too young to start breast cancer screenings. But if you know me then you know I made sure I had her send that referral. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I waited weeks for this ultrasound appointment today. When I arrived I knew I’d be getting an ultra sound but the doctor insisted they do a mammogram as well. I waited in a room with other women in blue gown scared af. I get into this room with a nice lady who is now tugging and pulling on these huge b***s to put them in a machine. Lol thank god they’re huge because idk how else they would’ve got into that oversized machine. 😩 She takes a few scans then continues to tug and pull. I leave the room then she asks me to come back! I’m like omg did you see something!?? Tell me! She’s like I’m not a doctor. Ugh so I’m super nervous. So she squeezes tugs and pulls to take more scans and photos. I leave and go back into this room full of women in blue gowns. Sigh… So she comes back and is like you can go! I’m like wth are you going to tell me anything? She’s like the doctor will call you. I felt extremely weirded out that I have to wait longer to see if I’m ok. So now I’m just waiting and trying not to stress. I got some flowers and healthy groceries from I share my story one because you never know what people are going through so it’s important to be kind! Also people if you are feeling something go and get checked!!! We are losing too many people. Sigh! Well I hope everyone else had a great day! I’m going to sit on the couch and watch Christmas movies for the rest of the night. 🎄🎅🏾🎄
