Angels of New York is a unique salon dedicated to offering the finest custom made wigs and one-on-one styling consultation to individuals who are suffering the emotional pain of hair loss. What makes us unique is that we are singularly committed to the needs of women, men, and children undergoing cancer treatments and other illnesses resulting in hair loss. We provide a comfortable, discreet and nurturing environment conducive to helping individuals restore their self confidence, and find their way back to a sense of wellness. As the patient's own hair grows back, we can help the process by providing regenerative scalp and hair treatments, as well as full-care salon services. In this small way, we attempt to contribute to the recovery process. WHO WE ARE:
Robert-Charles Vallance brings more than 25 years of experience in professional theatrical design. Referred to as the “Wig-Master to the Stars," his loyal clientele, friends and supporters include leading ladies: Dame Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman, Helen Mirren, Kate Burton, Phylicia Rashad, Patti LuPone, Zoe Caldwell, Dixie Carter, Marion Seldes, and Helen Reddy. His signature style has been seen here on Broadway as well as internationally on stage, screen, and television. Jonathan Bailet, renowned color specialist and hair designer, also has more than 25 years experience. Formally trained at Vidal Sassoon in London, Jonathan’s international reputation has benefited Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa on Fifth Avenue and Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires.

As a very social, active 44 year old mother of two young children I didn't want to be bald. It was bad enough I had to endure 16 weeks of preventative chemotherapy but to upset my kids on top of that would have been too much.
After a consultation with Jonathan and two fittings I had wig more beautiful than anything I could have imagined. My husband was shocked. He refers to it as "the stunning wig." I went to a party a week later and everyone was asking me who did my hair. The blonde is so beautiful and the wig itself is very full. I have only told my closest friends that I am wearing a wig.
My gorgeous wig has allowed me to look great and receive tons of compliments during the most frightening, stressful time of my life. I never would have thought a wig could lift my spirits but that's exactly what it did.
