The majority of people still do not understand what a le***an is because le***an identity is constantly talked around instead of listened to directly.
People say “it’s not about sexuality” while refusing to ask le***ans about le***an culture, le***an life, le***an visibility, or what the word actually means to the people who identify with it.
A le***an identifying as a le***an should not be treated like tension, exclusion, or a problem to solve.
Visibility starts with allowing le***ans to describe ourselves without interruption, projection, or erasure.
Le***an is not a dirty word.
It is a lived experience, a culture, and a community.
