So I’m at Walmart today and saw something that honestly caught me off guard 😭🛒

There was a guy completely knocked out asleep in his car parked in one of the front-row spots.

No movement, no bags, no sign he was coming or going—just fully asleep in the driver’s seat while people were circling trying to find parking 😭

And yeah, I know what people are gonna say right away: “maybe he’s just tired.”

Totally fair. People work long shifts, people get exhausted, I get that 💀

But it still made me wonder at what point a busy store parking lot stops being “temporary parking for customers” and starts turning into someone’s place to sleep.

Because meanwhile, actual shoppers are driving around looking for spots, hauling groceries, and getting frustrated just trying to park.

That’s the part that made me pause.

I did end up going inside and mentioning it to staff, mainly because I honestly wasn’t even sure if the guy was okay, and also because it felt weird for a front-row spot to basically be occupied long-term while the lot was packed.

And now I’m just curious how situations like that are usually handled.

I get compassion, and I get that people need rest sometimes, but I also feel like parking lots are supposed to serve active customers coming in and out to shop.

So at some point, is there usually a welfare check or some kind of policy for this kind of thing?

It just felt uncomfortable—not in an angry way, more like “how is this supposed to work long-term?” 😭

Be honest… would you say something to staff in that situation, or just leave it alone?

To the person who thought it would be hilarious to slap a “YOU PARK LIKE AN IDIOT” sticker on my car while I was inside eating… grow up.
Seriously.
I came back outside and found one of those giant childish stickers with the middle finger graphic plastered onto my bumper like we’re all still in high school.
And before people start saying “it’s just a joke” — no.
You do NOT get to walk up to someone else’s vehicle and stick things on it because you didn’t like how they parked.
That’s not funny.
That’s not clever.
That’s vandalism.
I honestly don’t care if you thought my parking was bad, crooked, too close, or whatever excuse you’ve convinced yourself justifies touching someone else’s property.
Normal adults move on with their day.
They don’t go around decorating strangers’ cars like parking-lot vigilantes.
And yes, I already went back inside to ask about security footage because I absolutely want to know who thought this was such a brilliant idea.
People seriously need to mature.... 😡😡😡😡

To the person who surrounded my truck with shopping carts tonight — seriously, what is wrong with people?

I walked out expecting to go home, and instead found my truck boxed in like some kind of joke. It took forever to move everything, and the whole time I’m standing there thinking, “Someone really thought this was funny?”

It’s not a prank when someone’s property is involved. It’s not funny when you waste someone’s time and make them feel targeted.

Good thing my dash cam was running. I’ll be reviewing it, and if I can identify who did this, I’m not brushing it off. Actions have consequences. Is this just a harmless prank, or did they take it too far?

Yesterday morning I paid for grocery delivery, and the driver apparently decided my porch was a storage unit.
Six bags of groceries were left sitting outside for three full hours.
I just got home to find everything baking in the heat — including milk, eggs, and other perishables. There’s a good chance a lot of it is no longer safe to eat.
If people are paying extra for delivery, the bare minimum should be making sure the food doesn’t sit out long enough to become a science experiment.
I’ve already reported it to Walmart. This is completely unacceptable.
Now I’m stuck staring at a porch full of groceries, trying to figure out what’s ruined and what isn’t.

Okay am I wrong for being irritated by this??
I’m at Walmart and there’s a guy completely slumped over asleep in his car parked close to the front of the store while everybody else is desperately hunting for parking spots.
I watched multiple cars circle the lot because it’s packed, yet this dude is just laid back knocked out in his seat like he rented the parking spot for the night.
I eventually told a couple workers because honestly it doesn’t seem right. Parking lots are for customers shopping at the store, not for people to park for hours and sleep while everyone else struggles to find a spot.
And honestly, it’s kind of concerning too. If someone is THAT passed out in a car in public, shouldn’t management at least check on the situation?
The whole thing just feels completely unacceptable and weird to me.

I walked out to my car today and found a note on my windshield, and I honestly had to read it twice because it just kept getting more ridiculous the further I went 😭
It starts off telling me I backed into my driveway at exactly 9:47 PM last night. And yeah… I did. I back into my driveway most nights because pulling in forward is a pain with how it’s set up.
Then it says my reverse beep woke up their dogs, the dogs started barking, and *that* woke them up.
Okay.
But then it gets weirder.
This person has apparently been tracking my parking habits for the last eight nights and wrote down that I used reverse on seven of them. Seven out of eight.
So at this point, somebody in my neighborhood is basically monitoring my driveway like it’s a full-time research project.
And now they’re politely requesting I start pulling in forward from now on.
The note is signed: “Sleeping Resident.”
I’m sorry… what?
So just to be clear, I’m being asked to change how I park at my own house because a neighbor has been documenting my arrival times and decided my car’s built-in backup safety beep is disruptive.
And on the dogs part—yeah, dogs bark. That’s kind of what they do. That’s not really something I control from my driveway.
And the beep? That’s not me being loud for fun. That’s a factory safety feature. I didn’t install it, I can’t “opt out,” it’s there so people don’t get run over.
Also pulling in forward isn’t some universal rule—it doesn’t even work well for my driveway layout.
So no, I’m not changing how I park.
But now every time I back in, I’m definitely going to remember that somewhere out there, someone is apparently logging my reverse gear usage like it’s a neighborhood incident report 😭
And honestly the most impressive part is the 9:47 PM timestamp… because that level of detail means they were awake, checked the clock, and made sure to document the exact minute like this was official evidence.
At this point I’m less worried about the dogs and more concerned I might be living next to a part-time parking analyst..

My neighbor seems to think he has control over the public street 🤦‍♂️ I’m pretty sure it’s open parking for everyone.

Definitely a frustrating “neighbor from hell” situation.
