Here is a description of our Lilith❤️

“Lilith” is named for Sheila Eggenberger’s character of Lilith, the mother of all demons, in her novel Quantum Demonology.

Lillith is dangerous as she is seductive, the ancient feminine archetype herself living in NYC, stilettos clicking on concrete and painted lips smirking at her demon minions.
We have captured her in natural and rare vintage oils creating a narcotic potion to echo Lillith’s personality. Within, hand- tinctured oils have been consecrated by the light of a waning moon: Tuberose, Lily of The Valley, seeping with sweet poison. Honey as an offering to this goddess, Narcissus, Immortel, 35 million year old fossilized amber, pure ambergris, and black agar along with the faintest metallic note of blood and concrete. This scent is as much an aromatic spell to conjure Lilith in all her feminine power, seduction and destruction as it is a portrait of her.

The formula for this scent has been lost, literally swept away as soon as the perfumers Alexis Karl and Maria McElroy had in a sort of trance and fury of creativity, composed the work and written it on a large scroll -like paper. Turning back around after blending the precious oils, the paper had disappeared, nowhere to be found; perhaps it had flown out the window to the garden beyond… or perhaps reclaimed by Lillith herself.

It is with heavy hearts that we add our deepest condolences to the family and friends of dear Carlos.
Carlos interviewed us many times over the years- always a time filled with incredible laughter, hugs and hours of perfume talk. Carlos was a true visionary - a champion of individual creators and small brands in a world of looming companies ... his wit, kindness, style, warmth and genuine realness will truly be missed. There is a fundraiser for his family . Rest In Peace💜
