The below picture is being circulated around the nail industry and I wanted to take this opportunity to educate. There are many salons who offer this service however they are selling it on the pretense of false advertising!

Dip is made up of TWO core ingredients which is acrylic powder and cyanoacrylate (glue)! It absolutely infuriates me that "nail technicians" are selling it as a "healthier alternative" to acrylic or gel services when it's just that. It’s very harsh on the nail plate for removal as it takes longer than traditional gel polish services for removal.

More importantly, how is applied creates a bigger question is sanitation. You could continue to dip your fingers into the same colored powders as 100 other people who questionably washed their hands and under their nails or the nail tech COULD sprinkle the powder over the nails and throw out the excess powder being the most sanitary process.
