I almost let life take me out… but I’m still here.

Thanksgiving hits different when you’ve walked through seasons that tried to break you, silence you, or make you forget who you are. I’ve had moments where I carried so much on my shoulders that even breathing felt heavy. But I kept going - even when I didn’t feel supported… even when I felt alone… even when I didn’t know where my strength would come from next.

And today, I’m not just grateful for what I survived -
I’m grateful for who I became because of it.

To everyone reading this:
You don’t give yourself enough credit for the storms you’ve walked through with grace. You don’t realize how powerful it is that you kept choosing yourself, even on days when no one clapped for you, checked on you, or understood you.

Today is your reminder that Thanksgiving isn’t only about the table, the food, or the family around you -
It’s about celebrating the person you had to become just to make it to this moment.

Your resilience is worthy of gratitude.
Your strength is worthy of gratitude.
Your ability to keep rising - even when you didn’t feel like it - is worthy of gratitude.

So today, take a moment to honor you.
Because you didn’t just survive…
You kept going.
And that is a miracle all by itself.
