Turn your pain into power!
The grass is super green over here!
Stay blessed 😇 ✨💕👑✅🙏🏽
And in embracing it all, you finally come home to yourself.
I wanted you to see me—
not the surface smiles,
but the way my heart trembled
when I thought of you.
I wanted to prove I was real,
that my love wasn’t fleeting or fragile.
But you never reached back,
and I kept reaching into the quiet,
hoping it would shape itself into care.
Now I see—
I can’t convince someone
to meet me where I already stand.
My love deserved a witness,
not an audience of one.

Can’t get enough !

How Toxic Relationships Trigger Chronic Cortisol Release
Cortisol is the body’s primary stress hormone, released by the adrenal glands. It’s meant to protect you in short bursts — like when you face danger or need to act quickly.
But in a toxic or emotionally abusive relationship, your body ends up living in a near-constant “fight-or-flight” mode.
Common triggers include:
• Walking on eggshells, anticipating anger or manipulation
• Frequent criticism, gaslighting, or emotional unpredictability
• Lack of safety or affection (emotional deprivation)
• Being isolated or controlled
Each of these signals danger to your nervous system. Your brain (especially the amygdala) perceives this as a threat, and your hypothalamus signals your adrenals to release cortisol and adrenaline — over and over again.
