In 2009, Julianne co-founded Emi Jay with her mother, creating a brand rooted in bold femininity and brought to life through coveted hair essentials. Since its inception, Emi Jay has evolved to offer hair care products that are not only effective and reliable but also effortless and fun to use, making styling a joy. This exciting new chapter signals a period of growth and visibility, allowing us to share our signature products with even more customers who are passionate about both hair and self-expression. With an ever-expanding product line and a loyal, engaged community, Emi Jay has grown into a leading force in the hair care world, now available at top retailers such as Revolve, Selfridges, Bloomingdale's, Urban Outfitters, and, of course, Sephora. My love for beauty as a young girl transcended into a passion for hair and the joy of discovering unique, versatile products and accessories. Growing up with a school uniform, headbands, and hairstyles became my main forms of accessorizing and self-expression. From day one, we've always had the desire to create special, everyday essentials that effortlessly support one's lifestyle and bring a little cheer to everyday routines. Ranging from simple to sophisticated our products have your back throughout the day - whether you’re running out the door for a workout, stuck in a meeting, or grabbing a drink with friends. Now, well over a decade later, I continue my mission to design hair essentials for all women, at every stage of life, for every moment of the day.
