Virgin bleach and tone on short boy hair. I’m using sandwich wrap and cotton to separate my sections. I’m also using my sister for an extra set of helping hands. Once the hair gets to a level eight, I remove the wrap and cotton and apply to the roots. See the results on !

Going back to your “natural” brunette isn’t as simple as throwing on a dark shade. You have to put back in what you take out!
As shown here, I’ve applied gold filler (demi gloss) to my guests hair. After full processing time we rinse and dry. Then we apply a copper-red filler (demi gloss). After full processing time we wash and dry. Only then can I apply my target shade.
Taking the time to fill ensures durability and proper reflect. Skipping this step would give her a muddy green and hollow color. Yuck!
‼️a couple people have suggested adding the warmth to their target shade or using a double natural to do this in one step. In my personal experience the results aren’t very good. In the first case you’re not packing enough pigment in by doing one process. In the second, the results end up almost black from the double natural because of the porosity. No hate in anyone doing it this way. Whatever works!
