For generations, the Hulu has symbolized blessings, protection, abundance, and love.

When I created this collection, I didn’t want to simply recreate a traditional Hulu. I wanted to reinterpret it for the women of today—something rooted in heritage, yet effortless to wear.

East and West each have their own beauty. So do the ancient and the modern. As a designer, I wanted to explore how these influences could come together in a way that feels meaningful, timeless, and wearable today.

In the Shanghai of my childhood,
through the 70s and 80s,
my mother owned a few
pieces of jewelry.

Yet I still remember her
