You really don’t need to melt the Shea butter. 🤍
If yours is soft enough, just add some cold-pressed Baobab oil and whip it with an immersion blender.
If you live somewhere cold and your Shea butter is rock hard, warm it just a little until it softens, then whip.
That’s honestly it.
A few minutes and you have your own whipped Shea butter.
And yes, Lauren is 6 and she’s the one adding the Baobab oil here. She just pours until it looks right. It really is that easy.

We actually don’t melt the Shea butter when we make body butter.
The immersion blender does the hard work. Once you start whipping it, the butter gets really soft and creamy without heating it up first.
And honestly, we prefer it this way. Less messing around, and you keep that lovely soft texture of the Shea butter.
