My Vintage Love

Despite a rainy Easter (first time in the 20 years I’ve been doing the Easter parade this has happened!) we had a wonderful, if soggy time. We didn’t spend much time on 5th Avenue before the rain started but we had a wonderful brunch at , followed by ’s legendary Easter Egg Strut! Will try to make a reel of our day, but this week is crazy!

The world is heavy right now so I’m taking comfort in tiny bits of beauty where I can find them. This lovely necklace from is my baby’s birthstone, amethyst, which is a constant reminder of him that I can wear everyday and it layers well with some of my vintage jewelry as well. Sometimes these little pieces of beauty that remind us of our loved ones make the day just a tiny bit brighter.

One more time on the vintage trains! asked if I wanted to do some pics on the trains, so of course I said yes! We used the trains and the 96th street stop as a backdrop and I love how all the shots turned out. It took me way too long to put this outfit together, but i love how it came together and I love a red accessory, obviously. See some of y’all on the trains next year!

A few highlights from an insanely fun New Year’s Eve Eve celebration produced by I’ve been going to this party for years but this is the best time I’ve had in a long time, because of my wonderful, beautiful friends who obviously know how to have a good time! Had a great time on the much quieter vintage trains last Sunday. The snow storm the night before meant fewer people in attendance but we still had a great time riding the less crowded trains, and because it was so cold I finally got the chance to wear this insane 20s fur-lined coat from . A wonderful night at the holiday party at the mansion, one of the most beautiful places in NYC! was featured in an article in the magazine. Always fun to see fellow menswear folk and appreciate their impeccable style. I went full RRL in a vintage Ralph skirt, Stetson Open Road and stacks of turquoise, which I really should wear more often. even graced me with a photobomb! 😂
