Get ready with me while we have a long chat on the way to my eyebrow shading appointment with Hoshi Studio and my girl Whitney Tobar. 🤍

I’ve been going to Whitney for years, and before chemo started six months ago, I originally wanted to rush in and get my brows touched up before my hair fell out. But she stopped me and said, “Let’s do this the right way.”

Years ago, I had old microblading done in Las Vegas back when it first became popular, and over time the color shifted, blurred, and even created scar tissue around my left brow. Whitney wanted my brows to heal and sit perfectly before reshaping them, especially knowing I was about to lose my eyebrow hair during chemo.

So instead of forcing it, I trusted the process and did two rounds of laser removal first. And honestly? I’m glad I waited.

Now that my hair is gone, we’re choosing a much softer shade that actually fits where I’m at right now because those super dark brows that matched my old hair would’ve looked WILD with no hair on my head 😂

It’s another reminder that not everything has to happen immediately. Sometimes things really do work out better with timing, patience, and not forcing the outcome.

And listen… if you’re an eyebrow girl, you GET IT. When your hair starts falling out, your eyebrows suddenly become VERY important because they frame your whole face. So I am VERY excited for this appointment today. 🤍
