I’m having salon dreams now. They’re not the ones where you’ve accidentally double booked someone at the same you’re running late and the toner didn’t come out right. We all know this HECTIC dreams. These are the calm, laughter filled, everything is SMOOOOOTH dreams. Sometimes it’s easy to take things for granted. I’m making a promise to myself to try my best not to do that moving forward. ❤️

I’ve been doing hair for about fourteen years now and my primary focus these days is on creative color 🌈 I got my license in my hometown of Kansas City, Missouri but have almost been in New York City for TEN YEARS!!🤯 ⁣

My first job in the city was at for two years, followed by an East Village salon for four years until I opened 💓 I am a mother to three teenagers and am married to the guy of my dreams named Rob 👏🏼 He is such an insanely big support for me & single handedly convinced me that I could own and operate my own salon. He’s the s**t to put it bluntly. 😝 ⁣

Hair & the beauty industry (but mostly hair, lets be real) has been such a big part of my life and there isn’t a day that goes by that I am filled with gratitude for the community and all of our clients. It’s because of our clients & other supportive hair artists that we become successful. It’s been a dream to see the industry come stronger together with the use of social media 🥰⁣

A LIL’ SOMETHING REGARDING COVID-19 / CORONAVIRUS ; We are OPEN! That said... we take both our clients & stylists safety very seriously. We have always been proud of the level of cleanliness at but are taking extra measures in the wake of this virus keep everything extra tidy! We are waiving any policy fees for last minute cancellations until the foreseeable future BUT this next bit is important. We are a small business made of up artists. It is a pleasure to serve you, as we have literally made it our life’s work however we do not get paid time off, we heavily rely on customers to maintain not only rent / bills / etc but also as means of enjoying ourselves outside of work. Hairdressers, restaurant & cafe workers rarely have health insurance and just scrap by. It’s becoming increasingly scary to just get to work with all the hysteria surrounding this virus. We know the importance of not only staying healthy but avoiding being carriers to those immuno-compromised folks. Consider buying gift cards to your favorite small businesses during this time! They can be used down the road but you’ll know you’re helping keep that business afloat. We adore you all & we want everyone safe! All the gratitude 💘 Amanda & the PH team.
