Well now that I’ve let my team at the salon know, I can begin my search to find the right person to be the new salon owner!
I’m NOT SELLING the salon. So please don’t be staring any RUMORS 😂 My plan is to find someone who would like to take over ownership of the salon. It would be their salon and I would go from being the owner to being the landlord. I would also like to continue to work part time as a booth renter until I fully retire in the next year or so. My amazing salon team has assured me that they are supportive of my decision. And they would like to stay on with the new owners. They’ve known for awhile this was coming. I let everyone know two years ago that I would be retiring in Dec 2024. Currently, I’m having issues with my shoulders again and I’m back in physical therapy. They told me two years ago that I needed to retire or my shoulders were never going to get any better without surgery. And even with surgery there are no guarantees, especially in our profession where our arms are up in the air all day long. I’m starting my 38th year in this industry that I dearly LOVE❤️ But it’s time for me to take a step back and let someone else run the show!! I think part time will be a good decision for me. I’m not quite ready to hang up my shears!!
Letting ownership of the salon go will not be a problem for me. But my CLIENTS, now that’s going to be rough 😢 Just typing that sentence brought tears to me eyes. They are my FAMILY❤️ And I will always be grateful for all the many years I have had the pleasure of being their stylist! I hope to squeeze at least one more year out of myself !!
This is a great opportunity for someone who would love to own their own salon!
When I first went into business as a salon owner, if someone had offered me a salon that was thriving and also the possibility of maintaining 3-4 other employees I would have been ecstatic!! These opportunities don’t come along often.

So if you know anyone who is ready to make the leap from stylist to owner please tag them or message them to reach out to me. Or maybe someone already owns a salon but would like a new location? And would like to gain more booth renters!

We are no longer able to except these gift cards., We aerent able to verify the balance on them because we no longer have the system that they take. It’s been at least 6 or 7 years since we stopped selling these.
We’ve had a couple come in, over the past year. But we will no longer be honoring them.
The legal time limit for gift cards is five years plus fees. So if someone has one of these gift card after fees it would not have any value at this point.

With the increase in Covid we are now requiring all clients and employees to wear face coverings/ masks. Also if you have been exposed or anyone in your household has been exposed to Covid we are hoping you will do the right thing and reschedule your appointment with us. We are doing everything we can do to keep our clients and our employees safe from this virus. Everyone’s health and safety is our #1 concern. The last thing we all want is to have the salon close down again. So PLEASE let us know if you’ve been exposed at all and we will get you back in ASAP we promise!! Also until things get better we will not be excepting any more NEW clients. With all the new guidelines and restrictions we are already working longer days and getting fewer clients in. It’s not fair to us or our regular clients for us to take on more clients at this time. Once things get back to normal we will be happy to take on more clients if we have room in our schedules. Thank you for your loyalty and understanding during this crazy time. This too shall pass❤️

Hello Everyone! Long time no SEE!! We are all just as excited as you are that we are finally returning to the salon Friday May 15th.

There are some new rules and guidelines that we all have to follow so let me put them here so you have them.

1. When you arrive at the salon you will first need to call or text us letting us know you are here. Please wait until you get a response from us letting you know it’s ok for you to come inside. Until then you will need to wait in your car.

2. You will be required to wear a mask or face covering while inside the salon. If you don’t have one you can purchase one from us for $1.00.

3. Stop at the front desk for a quick touch free temperature check and sign in.

4.You will then need to go to the restroom and wash your hands. Or use the hand sanitizer at the desk.

5. We are limiting blow drying services for 2 reasons. First because the movement of air spreads the germs around the salon and second because the mask we will all be wearing makes things hot enough without the extra heat from the blow dryers. So we are asking if you don’t mind skipping the blow drying we would appreciate it. We do have some elderly clients that will be coming in for their normal weekly wash and styles. They will be the exception to this rule. Most of them aren’t able to get their hands up to do their own hair. That’s why they come to us! Hopefully in the near further we can go back to styling everyone!

We know this might be a little of an inconvenience to you but these are the rules . And we are following them to keep you and our staff safe and healthy. And to comply with State Board. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Hello everyone! We hope you are all healthy and safe! Just wanted to let you know that since we are not able to return to the salon until at least May 1st. I have had the phone number put on what’s called vacation or paused mode. So please don’t be alarmed if you call and it says it’s been disconnected! I will call and have it turned back on as soon as they give us a return date! Until then please be careful out there. You are important to us❤️

A few tips during quarantine:
•DO NOT use box dye 🙅🏼‍♀️ unless you want to pay for corrective color after this passes!
• you do not need bangs! Just don’t do it 🙅🏼‍♀️
•and just know...we’re all at home, who cares if you have a little extra root? Take this time to spend with your loved ones & stay healthy! Us hairstylists will fix you up as soon as we’re back to work 💕

We are planning on remaining open as long as we can! We already follow the very strict state board laws for sanitation to keep you safe and healthy. But we are taking extra precautions at this time. We are also asking for anyone who has any symptoms of being sick to please reschedule your appointment for a later date. We have a lot of elderly clients that come in and we need to be extra cautious at this time. So if you have ANY FLU SYMPTOMS please reschedule. If you come in and are showing signs of being sick, you may be asked to leave. We are very sorry! But this is the ONLY way we can remain open and keep our clients and ourselves and our families safe during this time.
