Running my little business has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my life. It has also taught me a lot about grace, resilience, and the importance of professionalism, even in difficult moments. It's something I strive for always, because I care deeply about the work that I do.

Recently, I’ve experienced repeated negativity across multiple platforms over the span of a week from one individual following a service that did not go as planned. I fully respect every client’s right to share honest feedback, especially if there is something I could have done better. That is part of growth, and I will always listen with an open mind.

At the same time, I believe that when experiences are shared publicly or otherwise, context and accuracy matter too.

I chose to give space for those feelings to be expressed and hoped time would allow everyone to move forward. However, when negativity continues beyond that point, it can be difficult to know whether responding helps or only adds fuel to the fire. As my original response to the review has been removed and it is no longer visible publicly, I felt it necessary to briefly acknowledge the situation here.

If there’s one thing this experience has reminded me, it’s how deeply I care about the work I do and the trust my clients have in me. This business represents years of dedication, learning, and love for what I do.

To anyone else navigating something similar; you can remain kind, professional, and grounded without losing your voice.

To the many clients who have supported me, trusted me, and grown with me over the years: thank you. Your kindness and loyalty mean more than you know! 🥹

I stand behind my work, my integrity, and the environment I strive to create for every person who sits in my chair. I am ever-changing, always learning and always ready to put my best foot forward.
