❤️ Kicking off my annual Adopt a Grandparent today ❤️

Every year, over 65% of elderly living in nursing homes never have visitors. That means, over 1.1 million residents never have visitors each year. We want to help change that! The way it works is:

❤ Each adoption gift includes a mint bliss lotion and cozy socks.

❤ Before Christmas, My Unit will drop off all the gifts to a nursing home to distribute to the residents. I hope this year we will be able to go in to deliver!

Most of you know how this works, but for those who don’t, here’s the deets.

For $13, you can adopt a resident at a local nursing home & they will receive a gift for Christmas. 🎅🏼 The gift will include fuzzy socks, hand or foot lotion, & Christmas card. They will be hand delivered to the residents about a week before Christmas.

That’s it! Super easy! I do all the shopping, wrapping & delivering, with help from some friends. 😉
We are usually able to deliver 600-800 gifts each year to local nursing homes and shut ins!! Our goal this year is to deliver 1000 gifts 🎁 🥰🥰🥰

PURPOSE: provide a gift to some of most vulnerable & forgotten members of our community. I’ve seen first hand how many of the residents don’t have visitors, get phone calls, much less a gift to open at Christmas. It really is heartbreaking.
