After surgery she was hooked to so many wires that the only available body part that could be touched was her right foot. I would massage it and hold it. The cardiologist came in seeing what I was doing and commented how good of an idea that was to help with healing her after surgery and to have her know my touch. I looked more into it. I researched massage for those with cardiology issues and what it would do to benefit her during and after surgery. When she was 2, that is when I started at Ivy Tech for Massage Therapy.
