A Master Barber who learned his craft in Sicily, built a life in South Boston, and became known for hard work, good style, and even better conversation.

Three generations later, Matty’s work ethic, drive, and passion for life inspired a new risk, a new venture, and a new opportunity. His dedication and perseverance became something for his great grandson, Banter founder Eric Eramo, to look up to as he took his own leap into entrepreneurship.

And man, the guy had some style. That familiar face in the Banter logo was inspired by Matty himself, right down to the smile and that killer dimple.

From Matty to Eric, the story continues. 💈
