Three years ago I took a leap that absolutely changed my life… and moving into my suite at Sola Salons was hands down one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. ✨ Thank you for making the cutest cookies
Being able to build my own business, create my own space, make my own schedule, and truly connect with my clients on a personal level has been such an incredible blessing. There have been long days, hard moments, and a LOT of learning along the way… but I wouldn’t trade this journey for anything.
I’m so thankful for every client who has sat in my chair, trusted me with their hair, supported my business, referred friends, liked posts, shared my work, and helped make this dream possible. 🫶
Owning my own business has given me freedom, confidence, growth, and a career I genuinely love showing up for every day. Cheers to 3 years at Sola and many more beautiful transformations, laughs, conversations, and memories ahead. 🤍

Today we celebrate my best friend’s birthday — and honestly calling her just my best friend doesn’t even cover it. She’s my ride or die, my partner in crime, my unpaid therapist, and the person who knows all my secrets and still chooses to be seen with me in public. 😂
She’s the one who answers my random texts, hypes me up when I need it, tells me the truth even when I don’t want to hear it, and somehow manages to make me laugh when life feels heavy.
Through the chaos, the memories, our early morning talks, and the “remember when we…” moments — I wouldn’t trade our friendship for anything. Life is just better with you in it.
Happy Birthday to the girl who’s stuck with me for life whether she likes it or not. 🥂
Love you more than words (and probably more than margaritas… which says a lot). 🍹❤️

March is MS Awareness Month 💛
For a long time, Christina Applegate has been one of my favorite actresses. When she was diagnosed with MS years ago, I remember hearing about it but honestly not really understanding what it meant.
Fast forward to May 2025, when I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS (PPMS). I was shocked and extremely overwhelmed, and suddenly MS wasn’t just something I had heard about — it became my reality.
Since then, listening to Christina and Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s podcast “Messy” has helped me more than they probably realize. Hearing them talk honestly about MS, the struggles, the humor, and real life makes me feel a little less alone on this journey.
My stepdad surprised me with Christina’s new book “You With the Sad Eyes: A Memoir,” and I’m actually excited to read it (which says a lot because reading is definitely not my thing 😂).
I also couldn’t do this without my friends and family. Their support means more than they probably realize. They truly have no idea how much they’ve helped me get through this, and I’m so grateful for them every single day.
This month is about awareness, understanding, and support for everyone living with MS. If you know someone with MS, a little kindness and compassion goes a long way. 💛
Taking this journey one day at a time.

I don’t talk about this much, but I live with MS.
Some days I’m doing hair while my body is quietly begging me to slow down… which is why you’ll usually find me on my stool 😊 So if you notice me sitting, don’t worry—I promise it’s not laziness, it’s just how I take care of myself so I can keep doing what I love.
This disease has changed my life and how I work. Some days are harder than others. I move slower, I need breaks, and I listen to my body more than I used to. And yes, sometimes I feel bad—like it’s changed things for my clients too.
But I truly love what I do. Making people feel good, confident, and taken care of means everything to me, even on days when my body isn’t at its best.
So if you see me sitting, stretching, or taking a moment, just know I’m still here, still giving my all, and still so grateful for the grace and kindness I’m shown.
Same stylist. Same heart. Just seated. 💁♀️✨🎤⬇️

✨ Sweet 16 ✨
How in the Wreck-It Ralph did you turn SIXTEEN?! It feels like yesterday you were 3, hanging out at my house with Koltyn and Luke, running around like we were auditioning for Pitch Perfect. (And yes, I’m still Beca — don’t test me. 😉)
From being your teacher to becoming your other parent and soulmate, we’ve stacked up a million memories that still make me laugh until I cry. Inside jokes for days, “late nights” that really meant past 9pm (because you KNOW I don’t do late 😂), and endless Wreck-It Ralph quotes and aca-awesome sing-alongs.
And let’s not forget — you even introduced me to my bestie, aka your mom, my other half. Honestly, I should thank you for making my life this much brighter. 💕
Watching you grow into this smart, gorgeous, hilarious, sassy soul has been such a joy — but don’t get it twisted, I’ll still call you out if you ever try to act too cool for us.
Happy Sweet 16, beautiful. Stay bold, stay loud, and keep wreckin’ it, Ralph. 💕

💌 Not all soulmates are romantic… some are sent to be your person for life.
When you were 6, I met you — and you immediately made it clear I was not going to be the one for your brother. (Honestly… you might have been right. 😂)
Little did we know that God had a bigger plan — you weren’t meant to be my sister-in-law, you were meant to be my person. 💕
Over the years, we’ve been through more than most people could handle — bonding over countless episodes of Friends (yes, we can quote entire scenes), and our mutual, undying love for Justin Timberlake. (It’s gonna be me… forever, JT. 😏)
This past year, after being diagnosed with MS and having my life turned upside down, you came back into my life in the most perfect way — moving in with us, helping my family, and just being here. Sitting on the couch with me, listening when I break down, letting me cry, and never making me feel alone.
27 years of you knowing me better than anyone else, loving me at my lowest, laughing with me at my highest, and always understanding my inside jokes. You’ll always be my ride-or-die, my safe place, and my best friend. I love you. ❤️
