We wanted to share this picture in a separate post from the other wedding pics this week. It was the first time that we’ve had someone tear up after getting their makeup done. We’ve had some sweet/great moments, but she was the first one to shed some tears. Not ones of sadness, but we could tell she loved it and she was excited about it all day long.

What we love the most about being makeup artists are the reactions we receive once we give the clients the mirror for them to see their faces. The majority of our clients first time wearing makeup is when they come and sit in our chair. They’ve never had their makeup professionally done, or they don’t wear makeup regularly. Our personal belief is that all of us are beautiful and unique just the way God created us to be. Our job (As MUAs) is to simply enhance the beauty you were created with and the beauty we see. I always make sure to share that with our clients, “I’m just enhancing what’s already there.” All women from all walks of life, ethnicities, and complexions deserve to feel and look their best. Today, not only are we going to acknowledge this beauty first, but let’s take a trip down memory lane.
