When taking care of vivids, shampoo with a sulfate free, color safe shampoo in lukewarm water, and rinse conditioner out with COLD water. Vivids WILL fade over time, but not as fast if properly taken care of. Products used: Redken FlashLift to level 7 PulpRiot Jam violet semipermanent color

Playing around with color placement, keeping in mind what I learned at color class with at NES this year. She said that understanding the color story is very important in placing the right colors together so that it fades beautifully and not muddy. This mannequin started out as a red-head with some green as well. After lifting to a level 8, I am putting yellow passion, red alert, and tangerine in color blocks in the back, and color melting in the front and middle. Here's hoping it comes out as I envision...
