Hey everyone, I just wanted to come on here to announce that unfortunately I will be taking a step back from waxing, I’m unsure how long this will be, but I will be finishing up the clients that I have booked, and at the end of February I will no longer be taking clients. it’s truly sad because I do love what I do and all the clients I have met. I’m thankful for everyone who has came and got a wax, and who has supported my small business. and I’m extremely thankful for Studio 160 and everything they have done for me over the past year and a half. ❤️

• I created my last price sheet before I knew how much wax I would be using for each wax, now being a wax specialist for over a year, I have a better understanding of how much wax I actually use and I can price accordingly.

•For anyone wondering what a Brazilian Cleanup is I am now offering a Brazilian touch up if you come back between 5-6 weeks you are charged a lower amount, but if you go beyond the 6 weeks it will be charged as a Brazilian!

I wanted to come on here and talk for a second, I have been getting a lot of questions about waxing before vacation, weddings, any occasion really, and how many days you should book before the occasion.

I recommend getting at least 2 waxes before you leave for a trip, your wedding day, or if you have anything important you want a wax for, after your first wax you may have stubble still since your hair grows on different growth patterns, so please never judge based off the first wax, it hurts the most, and it doesn’t take care of all the hair, there will still be tiny hairs in the follicles that weren’t long enough for the wax to get, that is why you have to grow your hair out to a certain length.

Even if you don’t have a special occasion and you want a wax, I still recommend not judging based on the first wax, for the same reasons above, waxing is something you really should book every 4-6 weeks for the best results! over time you hair gets thinner, your hair follicles decrease, and it doesn’t hurt as much when it grows back, plus you don’t have to do it yourself lol.
