You may come to me for the hair, but somewhere along the way, it becomes so much more than that.

I get to hear about the new jobs, the first dates, the breakups, the babies, the weddings, the big wins, the hard seasons, and all the little pieces of life in between.

We laugh until our stomachs hurt. We overshare. We occasionally solve all of life’s problems during a move-up appointment. And sometimes, you just sit in my chair and breathe because life has been a lot lately.

And I hope you know how special that is to me.

You trust me with your hair, your confidence, your stories, and sometimes the parts of you that the rest of the world doesn’t get to see.

Yes, I love creating beautiful hair. I love a seamless blend, a perfect color match, and an extension install that makes you do a double take in the mirror.

But the relationships I’ve built behind the chair?

That’s the part I’ll never take for granted.

Thank you for choosing me. For trusting me. For referring your friends. For cheering me on as I’ve grown. For letting me be a tiny part of your lives while you’ve become such a big part of mine.

I used to think if I wasn’t posting, I wasn’t growing.

And if I’m being transparent… there were times I was terrified to stop.

As stylists, we’re expected to do the hair, run the business, create the content, stay relevant, show up online—and somehow still have energy left to show up for the people we love.

So when I’d go quiet on social media, the anxiety would creep in:

“Remember what happened last time you stopped posting every day? You weren’t busy.”

Except… these last few months, I haven’t posted consistently. Some weeks, barely at all.

And guess what?

I’m still booked. I’m still busy. My business is still growing.

Turns out, that voice wasn’t intuition.

It was anxiety.
It was hustle culture.
And trying to keep up with it was exhausting me.

The biggest change? I gave the worry to God.

I stopped believing I had to perform constantly to stay relevant. I stopped trying to keep pace with everyone else and started trusting the path He has for me.

I still love sharing my work with y’all. 🤍
I just no longer believe my success is measured by how often I post it.

Sometimes the quiet season isn’t a setback.

Sometimes it’s proof that what you built can stand even when you rest.
