Practice ownership comes with many battles but this is a project I have really been excited about. The swatches for our renovation of Needham Dental have finally been decided! Excited to breathe new life into the practice so we can continue to serve our patients better than ever.

I will be posting periodic updates on progress; but as many of you know in my previous ownership I was a partner of a DSO where my hands were tied when it came to making decisions about the practice esthetic. I’m so grateful to have partners now that allow me to bring my vision to fruition and I can’t wait to share the final with you all 🥹

Reflecting on the past 9 years, I'm grateful for the transformative journey of opening my dental practice in Seattle.

On a personal level, learning the principles of leadership proved to be a challenging and valuable lesson that forced me to grow outside of my comfort zone and mature as a boss, mom, and partner. On a professional level, mastering advanced techniques like CEREC and biomimetics has made me confident that I am able to provide my patients with the highest level of care.

I am so grateful to have had the chance to serve the Seattle community and will always remember the meaningful relationships that have shaped me into who I am today.

Now, I’m excited to take my skillset to the Greater Boston area. Thank you to my Seattle patients and team, and I look forward to serving new patients in Boston this summer! 🦷

Same-day smile transformation. For these cases I do chairside characterization prior to cementation (per the guru )to help the crowns come alive. Then I hand polish after. This case took about 5 hours from start to finish but the patient was lovely and we had fun.

Fixing a traumatic occlusion is essential for the long-term success of your restorations - here we went from crossbite/edge-to-edge —> canine guidance and increased overjet.

Still working on this dang iPhone photography quality; makes me feel so old!! Does anyone have suggestions for how to better use the iPhone macro setting better🙃?

Gave this tooth a second chance yesterday. Really nice patient, came in with pain and wanted to try to save his tooth if possible. Many would argue to extract this tooth but we used biomimetic principles to restore it.

After endo was completed:

⚪️Resin coating - Ever-x flow
⚪️Deep marginal elevation - AP-X
Restored same day with IPS E.max crown on CEREC.

Besides a little bit of cement on the seat X-ray I think this turned out pretty well. Going to need to start stepping up my photo game like 😅! There is always something to improve…

I love this style of dentistry and am passionate about saving teeth. Restoring form and function with appropriate materials that are most similar to nature bolsters longevity. Looking forward to tracking this one over time.

Back in action after my maternity leave! Lots to juggle as a mom of three. Here I am catching up on my older sons cleaning since it fell through this year when we had our baby (oops!). It happens to dentists too! Leo did great though 😀 🦷
