To the loyal clients of Chivalry Grooming Parlour,
Unfortunately, we are writing today to share very disappointing news. After more than six years of successful operations at our current location, our landlord delivered us an unexpected notice of termination. As a result, we are compelled to suspend our business and close our doors effective immediately while we find a new location to operate.
During the past two years we have all personally and professionally struggled through a global pandemic. Chivalry would like to thank our talented and hard-working team members and you, our loyal customers, for keeping us afloat during these extremely trying times. After two years of surviving shutdowns, updated cleaning protocols and mandates while maintaining the quality services and experience that you have grown accustomed to, we had been reminded of why we began our journey in the first place. We founded Chivalry Grooming Parlour to provide top notch Barbering services in a welcoming and relaxed environment, built with all of our modern-day conveniences, while maintaining deep roots in quality and exemplary customer service.
We are currently evaluating options to open our doors again soon, and our plans are to remain in the Newton Centre area. In the meantime, we will suspend active memberships and ask for your patience as we work through this difficult situation.
Again, we would like to thank you all for your loyal patronage over the last 6+ years and we look forward to serving you in the future.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
Perform exemplary services to our customers as expected of a Master Barber
Oversee all barber related services and ensure all established protocols are being adhered to and delivered as expected.
Ensure junior team members are consistently delivering and presenting the Chivalry brand and setting the expectation through the delivery of service.
Ensure membership sales message and retail recommendations are delivered properly through complete training and monitoring of all team members.
Build high level of team satisfaction through positive example and strong positive leadership skills to attract and retain the best talent.
Maintain immaculate work stations, tools and common areas
Be responsible to your schedule, to your team members, and your guests
Contribute to facility being visually “Picture Ready”, crisp, clean and set to company standards including promotional executions and displays.
Responsibly recommend professional products to maintain your guests needs
Ensure all barber team members are 100% compliant with OSHA and State Regulations.
Coordinate all barber training and development events as required.
Consistently meet with management in setting forth goals and achievements under guidelines provided
Consistently promote brand awareness and a culture of excellence through example.
Participate actively in team events, charity and promotional activities and team meetings
Qualifications:
A current Massachusetts Master Barber license that is in good standing
5 Years Experience, Advanced skills in barbering, hair, straight razor shaves, customer service and high level professionalism for the discerning client
Must be willing to participate actively in our mentoring and training program and attend continuing educational events
Need to reflect professionalism at all times and respect the policies and procedures and standards of the brand company
Understand and perform duties and responsibilities as outlined in job description and set forth by management
Need to be able to set a positive example in impeccable presentation in both image and attitude with fashion-forward appearance
Strong communication and listening skills.
Flexible schedule and ability to fill in any position as needed.
Accountability to performance of team and overall company productivity.
Dynamic leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
Ability to think swiftly and make good judgment calls, handle curve balls and respond to demands of team and guest challenges in professional manner.

Chivalry Grooming Parlour Will Be Open Sunday & Monday For The Next 2 Weeks!
We are excited to announce that we are expanding our hours of operation for the holidays! We will be open from 12-5 on Sunday, December 13th and 10-5 on Monday, December 14th. We will also be open on Sunday December 20th from 12-5 and Monday, December 21st from 10-5. We hope these additional hours of operation will provide even more options and convenience to our loyal customers!

We are a high-end barbershop/spa looking for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as our company’s front desk receptionist. In this position, you will greet guests and help direct them where they need to go. In addition, you’ll be responsible for answering and managing the phone and emails.
