Did you know? July is officially Disability Pride Month! The month is a time to raise awareness, challenge stigmas, and foster community pride within the disability community.
People with disabilities are more likely to experience substance use disorders (SUDs) than the general population and are less likely to receive treatment. People with physical disabilities experience SUDs at 2 to 4 times the rate of the general population. Co-occurring disorders are more common among people with disabilities. This makes accessible, inclusive recovery support more important than ever.

Great conversations, delicious bbq sauce, and meaningful connections made tonight at our Men’s Quarterly Mixer!
We gathered with our SMART Recovery facilitators, Mario, Dave, and Andrew, to share stories, support one another, and create our own signature BBQ sauces.
Having these deep conversations remind us how powerful it is to connect with others on their recovery journey!
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made a space where men could build community and leave with both new connections and a delicious homemade BBQ sauce.
