Last night, we had the privilege of giving back to our community in one of the best ways we know how—through hair. ✂️🤍

We were so grateful to be part of Newton Christian Church’s Back-to-School Haircut Event, providing FREE haircuts to local kids as they get ready to head back to school!

There’s something so special about watching a child leave the chair with a fresh haircut, a big smile, and a little extra confidence for that first day. 🥹

We’re incredibly thankful to be part of a community that shows up for one another, and we’re honored that Urban Wildflower Salon could play a small part in making back-to-school season a little brighter for these families.

Thank you to Newton Christian Church and everyone who organized, volunteered, donated, and helped make the evening possible. We loved serving alongside so many talented people! 💛

10 years. 🤍

It’s hard to put into words what this milestone means to me.

Ten years ago, I took a chance on a dream. I picked up my shears and began a career that has become so much more than just doing hair. I never could have imagined the people I would meet, the friendships I would build, or the moments I would be trusted to be a part of.

Behind every haircut, color, and style is a conversation, a laugh, a happy tear, and a story I’ll always carry with me. This career has given me the privilege of celebrating life’s biggest moments alongside so many incredible people. It has challenged me, humbled me, inspired me, and shaped me into the person I am today.

I’m especially grateful for the journey that led me to co-own Urban Wildflower Salon. Watching this dream continue to grow has been one of the greatest blessings, and I’m so thankful for every person who has been part of it.

To every single person who has ever chosen to sit in my chair—whether it was once or for the last 10 years—thank you. Thank you for trusting me, believing in me, supporting my dreams, referring your friends and family, and allowing me to be a small part of your lives. I will never take that for granted. You are the reason I’ve been able to turn my passion into a career I truly love.

To my family, friends, coworkers, and everyone who has encouraged me through the highs and the hard seasons, thank you for believing in me even when I questioned myself. Your love and support gave me the courage to keep going.

Looking back, I see so many blessings and so much growth. Looking ahead, I feel nothing but gratitude and excitement for what God has planned next.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making these last 10 years more meaningful than I ever could have imagined. Here’s to the memories we’ve already made, the beautiful years still to come, and the next chapter of this journey. I truly can’t wait to see what’s ahead. ✨🤍
