I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and I’ve decided it’s time to be fully transparent.

​For 7 long years, I was stuck. I was in a toxic situation that drained my light, and I had a history of being cheated on in every single relationship. I felt like I was running on empty, over and over again. By the start of 2023, I was at an all-time low. I wasn't looking for love—I was just trying to survive and find my freedom.

Boy oh boy was FREEDOM found... the weight was lifted. I realized that you cannot be good for anyone else if you aren't good to yourself. I had to focus on my own peace first, and in doing that, I started to shine again. I began to find myself, and I refused to let anyone dull my Sparkle ✨️

​Then, on July 2nd, 2023, my nephew pushed me to log into a dating app one last time. I wanted to say no, but I did it. And that one simple, reluctant "yes" led me to my forever love.

​Felix is different. With him, I don’t have to hide, perform, or shrink myself—I can finally just be me. There is a loyalty in him that I’ve never known before. And it isn't just me he cherishes; he embraced my children and my granddaughter as if they were his own from day one, loving them with the same heart he has for his own children. He isn't my past; he is my present and my future. I honestly could not have asked God for a better partner to do life with, to build with, and to grow with.
