My goodness, what an AMAZINGLY EPIC 8th Birthday we had to celebrate our bestest girl, Quinn! We started with an ease into a slow morning wake up and she was showered with amazing gifts! I personally crocheted her a likeness of her avatar from her favorite video game, Wobbly Life! Took me 3 weeks to complete! The yellow doll portion I did follow a pattern, but the hair, and shirt/skirt combo was completely freehand and instincts in creating it! Def the best labor of love and she LOVED it!

Along with the many other wonderful gifts she received today, she also had a big day out! We all went to celebrate by watching Forgotten Island in the theater! Very good movie and all the kids had such a great time watching it! After the movies, we all went to Arrirang for Hibachi! We all had such a fun time and ate a delicious amount of food! For dessert, they served us Mike's homemade rainbow cake with a hard shelled chocolate top along with my shortbread cookies!

She also found a penny, a 4 leaf clover and even a 5 leaf clover! Nothing screams Lucky then an epic 8th birthday celebration! Happiest birthday sweet girl! We love you so much!

This is a reminder to always prioritize yourself. Small positive actions can create good habits thus making big impacts. There is a 3 year and 50 lb difference between these pictures. Been on my journey wayyy longer than 3 years (more like 7 years since my highest weight) but this shows a progression between two "in progress" pictures. I have lost a total of 80 pounds so far and am still working towards my ultimate goals! The changes I made were:

✨ Eating less
✨ Self-lymphatic drainage techniques
✨ Self-reiki to manage stress, mental health, and emotional well-being
✨ Keeping engaged in my positive workspace
✨ Re-inspiring my creativity with my artwork like crocheting, drawing, and painting
