Part 3 of my products and why...jars are all sterilized and ready to fill with Babchi nighttime facial moisturizer. Babchi oil is said to work like retinol without the sensitivity issues. I made a batch for myself and have been using it. (There's no animal testing of my products, only testing on myself and friends and family Lol). I didn't get any of the redness or sensitivity I normally get with retinol. I used the Babchi moisturizer and then waxed the next day and didn't rip my skin off! I also have a hyaluronic acid daytime moisturizer already at the store. The Babchi moisturizer will be there by the end of the week. I plan to offer a packaged deal if you buy both.

Part 2 of my products and why... My Soaps. They are mostly made from Shea butter, cocoa butter and coconut oil. I get these three from Ghana Africa. They are hand crafted by the women of Ghana using age-old techniques. They are ethically sourced, no chemicals, additives, animal testing or harsh industrial processing, certified fair trade. These cost me a little more, but the quality and the fact that my purchase gives back to the women and families in Ghana make it all worth it. I also use only high quality essential oils (no fragrance or perfume oils) and natural colorings.

The soaps I have in the store now are: sandalwood, lavender dream, Gardener's soap ( cleans great, but is gentle on your skin) mocha exfoliating soap and hot chocolate ( Neither of these have any additional scents added. They get their great smell from the oils, coffee and cocoa), and Into the Woods ( this scent matches the beard oils of the same name).

I've been at our new location in the Niagara Outlet mall, Niagara Emporium for a week now and I want to take and showcase one of my products and why I do what I do each day this week. Today it's the why. I LOVE sandalwood! I have been on the search for the perfect sandalwood soap forever. There are several types of sandalwood oils (Australian, Indian, East Indian, and perfume oils) each has its differences and I specifically like Indian sandalwood essential oil.

I could do the melt and pour soap easy enough and get the scent I wanted, but I had little control over the other ingredients. That's when I took a class in making cold process soaps. I fell in love with it and loved that I chose each ingredient going into my soap. I try to watch what goes in and on my body. I had so much fun making soaps and experimenting with designs that I made way more than I could ever use in a lifetime. So that's how I started making soap to sell, which led me to making face and body lotions, beard oils. All are made of quality ingredients ( I what I would and do put on my skin). I use only essential oils, natural colorings.

Stopped at the Emporium and dropped off some Be Blessed beard oil. It has jojoba, mangosteen. Grape seed and vitamin E oils along with. sandalwood, frankincense, and vanilla essential oils. I have soap with a matching scent that should be there in a week. Get a great gift set for dad. I also brought in some baby bump butter. You don't need to be expecting to use it. I just made it especially with Mom in mind. There are no preservatives, scents ( other than what comes naturally from the butters) or dyes. Non irritating and so luxurious!
