One of the questions that I get asked the most is “what is a magistrate?”. Well, here’s your answer:

✨ What Does a Kentucky Magistrate Do? ✨
Let’s break it down!

A Magistrate is your voice on the county’s Fiscal Court: the team that makes big decisions that impact your everyday life right here at home.

💼 They help shape our county by:
• Passing local ordinances and resolutions
• Setting county policies
• Approving and overseeing the county budget
• Making sure county departments run smoothly
• Working alongside the Judge Executive to put plans into action
• Partnering on road maintenance and essential services
• Giving citizens a voice in local government decisions

From safer roads to responsible spending, Magistrates are on the front lines of making sure our county works for you.

Your community. Your voice. Your future.
Stay tuned! I’m excited to share more about how we can build an even stronger Jessamine County together!t

I’m running for Magistrate in Jessamine County because I believe in our town and our future. Nicholasville thrives when we build a strong sense of community; One that supports families and encourages new businesses to put down roots here.

As a mother, wife, and small business owner, I understand the challenges our families and local entrepreneurs face every day. I’ve lived in Jessamine County my entire life and proudly attended Jessamine County schools from kindergarten through graduation. This community raised me, and I’m committed to giving back through thoughtful leadership, collaboration, and service.

I would be honored to earn your vote.
