What a great day!! We closed the salon to lay my customer to rest. We decided to take salon pictures after. 🥰 always looking for a licensed hairstylist or barber to join our team.

✨ I DID MY FIRST WHITE COLOR! 🤍

This transformation was done over 2 visits. I want everyone to understand that every head of hair is different. What works for one person may not work for you!

I only take on transformations like this when I feel the hair is strong and healthy enough to handle the process. This beautiful lady was the perfect candidate. ❤️

During her first visit, her hair lifted to a yellow tone. After allowing her hair to rest for four days, I had her come back for the second visit—and we achieved the beautiful white result we were looking for! 🤍✨

I’m so proud of how this transformation turned out!

The bounce house and sports center were a HUGE success, and the food truck Rico Suave was definitely a HIT! 🎉🏀🍔

Most importantly, THANK YOU to our community for showing up in such a BIG way! Because of all of you, we were able to feed 141 people and provide 67 haircuts and braids! 🙌🏾👏🏾

67 students blessed. 141 people fed. Countless smiles. ❤️

Thank you to EVERYONE who supported, volunteered, donated, participated, shared the event, or simply showed up. We could not have done this without YOU!

And guess what? We’re already making plans for next year! 🎉

Our event will be held on the Saturday before Niles Community Schools goes back to school in 2027. The exact date will be announced at a later time. Hairstylist, barbers & braiders please think about volunteering your time we could definitely use your help. This is for the kiddos.😍

A few important reminders to the community. Braids are limited, so they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure ALL heads are clean, completely combed out, and free of products before arriving. This will help everything run smoothly and allow us to serve as many kiddos as possible.

While you wait, come enjoy all the festivities we have planned! We’ll have FREE food, raffles, school supplies, bounce house, and lots of fun!

We’re still looking for volunteers to help make sure our children head back to school looking and feeling their very best. If you’re interested in volunteering, please give me a call. We’d love to have you join us!
