In 2013 Mario Fusco opened Mario’s Barbershop after owning barbershops and beauty salons in the Capital District for over 40 years. Throughout the years, Mario learned that there is no substitute for quality haircuts and customer service in a clean and inviting barbershop. These principle beliefs are what Mario’s Barbershop was established on. Since then Mario’s Barbershop has grown and become known as a place where one can get a quality haircut, style cut, shave, or other service performed by master barbers dedicated to detail and customer service. Here at Mario’s, we offer traditional service in a modern manner. We are proud to be part of the Niskayuna community and appreciative of our customers. If you haven’t been to our barbershop we encourage you to give us a try. The shop is conveniently located on Balltown Road in the heart of Niskayuna and we are open six days a week for your convenience.

Happy Labor Day, the Barber Shop will resume normal business hours on Tuesday. It isn’t too late to get your back to school haircut if you haven’t already!

With Thanksgiving soon approaching we would like to give a special thanks to one of our customers, Joe V. for gifting us his father’s vintage straight razors. A reminder of a bygone era and when shaving took more skill and patience than today. At Mario’s we are sincerely thankful for having the greatest customers a barbershop could ask for. Thanks Joe!

If you haven't been to our shop stop by and give us a try. Our hours are Monday 9-5, Tuesday & Wednesday 9-5:30, Thursday & Friday 8-7, and Saturday 8-3. No appointment necessary, walk in at anytime during business hours. We look forward to seeing you!
