Dear Moxy Family,

With a full heart, I want to share some news that is both bittersweet and deeply personal: Moxy Hair Studio & Spa will close its doors on December 19, 2025.

This decision didn't come easily. Over the last 20 years as a stylist and 11 years as owner of Moxy, I’ve had the privilege of building a space that was more than a salon—it became a community, a creative hub, and a second home. To every guest who sat in our chairs, and every stylist who poured their talent and heart into their work at Moxy: thank you. You helped bring my dream to life, and I’ll forever be grateful.

As the beauty industry has evolved into a more independent stylist model, I’ve taken time to reflect on what that means for Moxy. That shift just doesn’t align with the vision I’ve always had for this space. And after celebrating a milestone birthday this year (hello, perspective!), it felt like the right moment to pause, reassess, and choose what’s next for me and my family.

So, what does this mean for you—our amazing guests?
First, please know this: your stylist is incredible. We will spend these last few months supporting our team as they explore their next chapters, and you are welcome to follow them wherever they land. Whether that’s a new salon across town or a private studio of their own, our wish is that you feel happy, confident, and at home in your next chair. Some stylists may choose to move on before December 19—and that’s okay. We encourage you to stay in touch and take your time in finding what’s right for you.

If you have a Moxy gift card or Treats points, now is the time to use them!
All gift cards and points must be redeemed by December 19, 2025. There will be no refunds issued, so we invite you to use them toward your favorite products, your next appointment, or a little retail therapy in the boutique—whatever your heart desires.

Finally, and most importantly—thank you.
Thank you for every visit, every laugh, every hug, and every memory. Moxy has been more than a business—it’s been a piece of my heart. Please stop in before we close. I want to see every face, give every hug, and help your hair dreams come true, one last time.
