Here’s to two years!

One of the biggest changes going from hairstylists to salon owners is the amount of thinking ahead that it takes. Anticipating problems, thinking about Christmas in July. The type of stuff that can make savoring the moment a little more scarce.

Looking back at pictures from two years ago is a nice moment to soak it all in. Seeing the baby vision of the space, the stark white walls - open to anything. And pictures of families who still come every six weeks, every variation of our little dollhouse.

One of the guiding lights for The Beauty Shoppe has been a quote printed and put in one of the first frames we hung up.
