Bacterial Contamination?!
Apparently, we need a chemistry degree now. 😵‍💫
Seriously.
Six HAND SOAPS are now under a Class II FDA recall because of possible bacterial contamination.
HAND. SOAP.
The thing we're using to CLEAN our hands 🤦‍♀️
Cool.
One more thing we are supposed to research 🫠
Reading food labels wasn't enough.
Now we're researching what's in the supplements?
What's in the shampoo?
What's in the skincare?
What's washing our clothes?
What's cleaning our counters?
What's sitting next to the freaking sink 😂
At what point did buying normal everyday stuff for our families become a part-time research job?!
And listen...
I'm not trying to live in a bubble.
Sometimes convenience wins.
Sometimes I don't read the label.
We're not scientists.
But I also don't think we're crazy for wanting to know what's in the products our families use every single day.
Or wanting companies to do some of that freaking homework FOR us 🙌
And THAT is probably one of the most underrated reasons I love Shaklee.
I've been using their hand soap already, so thankfully I'm not panic-checking the bottle beside my sink today 🙌
But it's bigger than one bottle of soap.
Shaklee talks about going “Beyond Organic” with standards that go beyond simply calling something natural or organic. They test products for quality, purity and safety and have a long list of ingredients they won't use.
And for me?
That gives me back some freaking brain space 😂
One company for so many things we're already using.
Nutrition. Personal care. Skincare. Cleaning. Laundry. All the everyday stuff.
Do I still ask questions? Yep.
But I REALLY like not feeling like I need to stand in every store aisle Googling 37 ingredients.😵‍💫
We have enough tabs open in our brains already.
