Making huge bows using pillows! 🎀 I honestly can’t think of a better use of old pillows and sheets (you can also buy inexpensive or thrifted ones), this is so easy to make and you seriously need to try it yourself this festive season! A little tip: if you buy a set of sheets or want to use a set you have lying around at home, invite a friend over because with two pillows, two pillowcases and one sheet you can easily make two bows. So good. I think flatter pillows are best which makes old pillows the perfect thing to use here! Sorry, I forgot to say in the tutorial but if the opening of the pillow sits weird you can sew or glue it shut once you have made the bow. I had to do that for the red one but the other two didn’t need that, so just see when you make yours. Also, if you find they droop or hang down too much, simply use command strips or double sided tape at the back of the bow ears to prop them up a bit! Phew! Let me know if you have any questions below. Oh my daughters claimed these immediately for their beds lol so I feel like I’m going to have to make a few more.
