Hello everyone,
All of us at Nida’s Touch Hair and Nail Salon have missed you and are very excited to have you back in our salon.

The Era of COVID 19 has drastically changed the lives of practically everyone. But we are thrilled to report that as of May 15, 2020 we will be able to re-open our salon

We truly value the relationships that we have with our clients and their families, and we greatly appreciate the trust that you have placed in us. While trying to accommodate as many appointments as possible, it will be a process of keeping them spaced out` enough to minimize inter-personal contact consistent with social distancing policies based on CDC guidelines.
You can call us at 757-588-6432 to see about getting an appointment scheduled.

We will be taking all precautions, wearing mask and maintaining social distancing.

It will be mandatory to bring your own mask.

To limit the number of people in the shop at one time we will be seeing clients by appointment only and we are asking that clients wait outside the salon/shop in their vehicle until the cosmetologist is ready to serve them.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home/rescheduling your appointment if you’re feeling sick. Symptoms may appear 2–14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

WHAT NIDA’S TOUCH IS DOING
At Nida’s Touch, you can expect to see our staff cleaning frequently touched surfaces more often, including doorknobs, phones, countertops, handrails, throughout the facility and the tools we use to perform services.

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT COVID-19
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the novel coronavirus is part of a large family of viruses common in people and many different species of animals. The virus causes a respiratory disease called COVID-19. Symptoms may appear 2-–14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath.

The CDC recommends everyday preventative actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases including:

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
• Stay home when you are sick
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.

Precautions for you and your stylist is the name of the game to keep us all healthy and looking beautiful!
